Our Installation Process
While there are many decisions to make for your windows – such as frame type, glass package options,
colors, hardware finishes and grid styles – all windows share one thing in common: the window is only
as good as the installation. Whether you’re having a window or french doors installed, the professional installers on our team are skilled and insured. By properly sizing and sealing your window frames, the Custom Windows team will ensure quality installation that enhances the quality of each product installed.
Unlike some dealers, all production measurements are done by the same lead installer who will be onsite throughout the installation. This ensures that each product provides the best fit and seal for your home. Most importantly, it allows you to meet the team that will be taking care of your home during installation.
We do not set installation schedules until the product arrives on our dock. While some companies begin removing windows before the product is even on-site, our installers bring the windows to your site and reverify sizes before beginning any work.
Every Custom Windows installer has gone through extensive training and is an experienced full-time installer specializing in windows and doors. We will never allow day laborers or unskilled help in your home!
The final step of installation is to protect your product from outside elements by applying a high-quality sealant inside and out. Custom Windows uses the highest quality OSI products, including their best QuadMAX caulk and low-expansion foam for a long-lasting seal.
Every workday, our installation team will clean up any debris in or outside of your home. Our goal is to leave your home looking better than before, providing you with award-winning service from beginning to end.
Why We Trust OSI Sealants
To ensure energy-efficient window and door installations, our installers exclusively use OSI sealants and foams. Unlike other silicone or latex caulk, OSI’s QuadMAX is a very low VOC (volatile organic compounds) sealant that is odorless, making it perfect to use inside and outside the home.
Since it is not a solvent-based caulk, it also does not shrink over time, maintaining a long-lasting seal between your windows and doors and the brick, stucco or siding outside. Offering maximum durability and maximum performance, OSI helps keep the elements where they belong—outside.
- Energy Efficient
- Environmentally Friendly
