Okay, several people asked me to share the information about replacing the windows in our house. Remember this reference when you're looking to do the same!
The owner of Custom Windows is very thorough and knowledgeable. He is prompt and responsive...all around a pleasant person to work with!
The installers were fantastic! They are licensed and insured...and very trustworthy. They did an excellent job in replacing our windows and also with the clean-up afterwards. They were even considerate about my 10-month-old's nap schedule! It is not very often that someone who has a job to do asks when the baby will wake up, so they can start banging away.
All of this great service, and the product is superb! We have windows that are self-cleaning and extremely efficient. Some windows that block out the UV rays, heat, etc. tend to be darker, but these have a new technology that allows the sunlight you want in your house, without the adverse effects.

The employees of Custom Windows did just a magnificent job installing our windows.
Our custom windows are just the most beautiful and efficient windows, they have brought the outside into our home. The double pane, low E glass has allowed us to open our drapes to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
The installation was done skillfully and professionally. The crew was most efficient and respectful. The clean up could not have been done any better, even if I had been there to monitor the process myself.
We are looking forward to next spring when we finish having the remaining windows completed.
Our energy consumption in May of 2007 is 6% less than in May of 2006, and with the remaining windows being completed next spring we can expect even greater savings.
