Simply re-screening or replacing your existing screens with Custom Windows’ fiberglass or aluminum mesh screens can make a remarkable improvement in the looks of your home. You can also choose from mill finish, white, bronze or almond aluminum frames to best match your existing windows.
Looking for an inexpensive upgrade to your home’s appearance? Simply bring your existing frames by our shop in the morning and we will manufacture replacements with all new materials in one or two days!

Solar Screens:
 Houston is known for our long hot summer days. And if you have windows facing into the southern or western sun you know how much glare and heat can poor through those windows! With energy costs on the rise again, this added heat is also adding electricity costs every month.
 Solar screens provide efficiency improvements while improving the look of your home. We use only the highest quality Pfifer materials in gray, charcoal, bronze or stucco. While we primarily find the 80% density mesh to provide the best balance of efficiency and visibility, you can also choose our 70% mesh (greater visibility but it blocks less heat) or 90% mesh (increased efficiency with reduced visibility).
For even greater efficiency, Custom Windows offers two alternatives to solar screens alone:
- Our Three Track Storm Window with a full solar screen! Combining our Three Track Storm Window with a full solar screen not only improves the energy efficiency but it also allows you to quickly replace the screen with an extra storm sash of plywood or acrylic if high winds hit our area!
- Our new IN'FLECTOR Window Insulator that mounts inside your home provides significant energy efficiency improvements over solar screens, equaling many key performance factors of replacement windows!
